The Senate has passed a bill to forgive school attendance for the number of days missed for snow.
I proposed an amendment to eliminate altogether the state-mandated 180-day requirement and instead let districts set their own calendars.
I agreed to file it as a separate bill instead, which I have done.
The snow-day issue is a prime example of the ridiculous amount of control Columbia has over us and particularly our schools. I plan to do more to get Columbia off our backs.
so for i agree with everything u are trying to do.. some people have no common sense. a person who does no crime and has not been in troble with the law will not use his gun for anything but to proctect himself. the people who use a gun for crime all ready has one why can people understand this ,. how about the 2 lady who went by the bank and got money and the 3 or 4 follower them and she shot 2 on them. now what would have happen if she had no gun both would be dead.
need to get the new math out of school. i ran a paper route at age 15. also worked with a insurance company for 17 years also worked a milk and ice cream route for the same company and i never had to use the stupid math they teach now and the people who get out of school can not even count change.they put the stupid 10 in there and a 1 and it so stupid.5 plus 5 is 10 but no not the new math.
yipee on snow days . missed a couple of days so what.
Please don’t forget homeschool families. We are current held to 180 arbitrary days as well
