I was honored to chair a subcommittee to review the anti-dismemberment bill that would eliminate this barbaric practice in SC. It appalls me that this still goes on, but I intend to put a stop to it this year. We passed the bill out of subcommittee and hope it makes it to the Senate floor soon! I also continue to support the Personhood legislation that invests all unborn children with the rights endowed them by their creator. I tried to get this bill on the floor with a procedural motion, but not enough Republicans shared my conviction that day. The life of our children, born and unborn, is the most important thing, and I will continue to fight for every protection for them.
Shane, I happen to be one of seemingly few people that believes no unborn should be aborted for ANY reason EXCEPT to save the mother’s life. ALL babies conceived are God’s creations and neither rape nor incest, in my opinion, is a reason to take a baby’s life.
Thank you Shane. As an adopted person born in 1960 I have a strong opinion against the killing of an unborn baby. Keep up the good fight.
We agree 100%. Why is everyone so upset about the killings in FL(hitch is despicable) but they NEVER say. Word about those doctors who murder thousands every day by abortions??? Keep plugging on and may God give you and our President wisdom to make wise choices in directing our country
Thanks for the update,Senator.Keep up the good work you are providing the citizens of the Palmetto State.
